Monochrome Monday, Todays Flowers, Oddshot Monday

I hope this passes for Monochrome Monday. I was playing with the settings on my digital camera at the Ocean Aquarium at Maui. To showcase other b&w photos, please go here.

These little flowers were very interesting, and unfortunately, I do not know their name. To play along, please go here.

This shot was taken at the Whaler's Village in Maui. These fish were actually a tile mosaic. It was very cool. Other odd shots are here.

All these photos are lovely. I think the flower you're not sure about is some kind of lantana. No expert but I took something very similar a while ago.

Honestly, the mosaic looks like a pool of sharks until I enlarged it, then I could tell it was actually mosaic tiles. Love the delicate little blossoms, as well. BJ

Oh wow! Those flowers are unique and gorgeous -- I enlarged them to see the petal arrangement. Love the leaves also. I have a beautiful gold one if you want to peek still. . .

What a neat mosaic in the reflecting pool! I wonder who put all those little tiles together? Mine is a curb side object.

It is certainly monochrome, no doubt about it.

Nice shots... I think the flower is lantana too. None edible... rather poisonous. The mosaic is really interesting. A nice way to have the koi pond:)
